Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Wonstom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonstom tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A little jabbing left from Jones on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jones swings for the body but Wonstom moves out of range.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wonstom is looking for a counter combo.

Wonstom gets a clinch.
Wonstom lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
Wonstom swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wonstom pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Wonstom will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jones up against the cage.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wonstom gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Wonstom makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Jones turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones manages to end up in side control.
Wonstom tries to escape but Jones is in control.

Jones throws an elbow but Wonstom slips to the side and avoids it well.
Wonstom is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jones asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Wonstom bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

and Wonstom counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wonstom sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wonstom napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wonstom pushes Jones away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jones gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Wonstom seems a little lost for a moment, as Jones dominates the positioning.
Wonstom wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ivan Wonstom will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

and Wonstom counters with a three punch combo that has Jones backing up. Jones nods at Wonstom to acknowledge the strikes.

Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looked like Wonstom was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

I would just about give that final round to Jon Jones.
