Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ajai Hoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flores comes to the cage accompanied by The XX - Intro. Rafael Flores has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoo lands with a hook. Flores tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Hoo moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hoo throws a leg kick but Flores checks it.
Flores swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hoo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Flores has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Envyus in the buildup to the fight.

Flores lands a left and a right that send Hoo crashing to the mat, dazed. Flores thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hoo misses with a takedown attempt - Flores sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hoo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Hoo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Flores looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hoo seems to have recovered his senses.

Flores takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Hoo has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Flores sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Hoo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Flores looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Flores checks a leg kick.
Flores slaps away a takedown attempt from Hoo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hoo shoots for a double leg takedown but Flores sprawls well. He's pushed Hoo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rafael Flores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ajai Hoo.

Flores lands a big head kick that sends Hoo tumbling to the mat! Flores takes a step backwards and waves Hoo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rafael Flores will probably get the nod.
