Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Major Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olaf Sigbord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olaf Sigbord has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Major Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Olaf Sigbord!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sigbord closes the distance and pushes Miller back into the cage.
A short right from Miller.

Sigbord breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sigbord staying out of range there.
Miller could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Miller slips under a jab from Sigbord.
Sigbord lands a nice shot to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sigbord is defended easily by Miller.
Miller throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sigbord sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Miller gets tackled into the cage by Sigbord. Sigbord maintains the clinch.
Miller using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sigbord has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miller has Sigbord pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sigbord manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Sigbord is pressed up against the cage. Miller has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sigbord down to the mat. Sigbord avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Major Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sigbord tries to bum rush Miller with a series of wild strikes but Miller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sigbord clobbers Miller with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Miller dodges the punch combination from Sigbord.
Miller throws a lazy right hand but Sigbord sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sigbord drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Miller controls Sigbord momentarily but Sigbord frees himself.

Miller has a closed guard, preventing Sigbord from standing up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Miller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Miller drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miller.
No joy there for Sigbord, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sigbord. Miller does a little dance to reset his feet.
Miller slips a jab and a cross from Sigbord.

Sigbord rushes Miller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Miller tries for a takedown. No joy.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Sigbord breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Sigbord smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Miller ducks under a wild hook from Sigbord.
Sigbord throws a good cross that connects.

Miller scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Sigbord wants to get back to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller prevents Sigbord from improving his position.

Miller seems to be working for a kimura but Sigbord defends the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Olaf Sigbord dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Miller gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sigbord avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Miller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown. Sigbord tries to sprawl out of it but Miller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sigbord manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Olaf Sigbord seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sigbord's jab looks to have found its range, popping Miller under the eye.
No joy there for Sigbord, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.


Miller is rocked!
Sigbord lands with a big right hook that stumbles Miller - he's out on his feet here! Sigbord follows up with another monster hook that separates Miller from consciousness! Miller falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Sigbord stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Olaf Sigbord!
During a confident post fight interview, Olaf Sigbord thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
