PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Henry HuaHua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Ishikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishikawa is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by mindshift genki sudo. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Ishikawa!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HuaHua fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ishikawa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
HuaHua avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and HuaHua counters with an inside leg kick.

Ishikawa has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from HuaHua.

HuaHua fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ishikawa.

We've been informed that Ishikawa has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

A close round but Akira Ishikawa will probably get the nod.
