Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Stall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddie Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stall comes to the cage accompanied by Subtle People - Let's Ride. Rivera has chosen My Chemical Romance - I'm Not Okay (I Promise) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Stall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buddie Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stall.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rivera has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Rivera looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Stall lands a lovely overhand right.
Rivera lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Rivera displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stall throws out the jab.

Stall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rivera moves away.
Rivera cracks Stall with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Stall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Stall lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rivera at a distance.
Stall slaps away a takedown attempt from Rivera, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Stall fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rivera on the side of the head.
Rivera ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Rivera dives in and grabs Stall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stall pushes down on Rivera's head and hops out.
Stall throws a lazy right hand but Rivera sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rivera was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Stall throws a body shot but no joy.
Rivera throws a nice inside leg kick.
Stall throws a front kick aimed at Rivera's knee but Rivera avoids it well.
Rivera fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stall manages to avoid it.
Stall is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Stall throws a jab when Rivera was well out of range.
Stall on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rivera fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Dan Stall will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rivera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rivera tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Stall is able to avoid easily.

Rivera drops his hands momentarily and Stall takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Rivera takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Rivera might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Stall has got the better of the exchanges.
Stall throws a low kick but Rivera moves out of range easily.
Stall throws a hook to the side of Rivera's head but Rivera sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Stall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rivera.
Rivera fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stall looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Rivera feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Stall has control of Rivera's left arm, preventing Rivera from doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stall avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stall. Rivera does a little dance to reset his feet.

Rivera shoots in for a double leg but Stall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rivera stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nice straight punches there by Rivera. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rivera.
Stall is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Stall looks to land a combination but Rivera avoids it well.

Rivera closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stall quickly recovers to half guard.

Stall is looking for a sweep. Rivera is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Stall will probably get the nod.
That's time! Stall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Rivera decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

I think Stall has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
