Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yancy Malaki Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Dre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malaki Jr stuffs the takedown attempt from Dre. Dre gets slowly back to his feet.

Dr Dre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dre looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Malaki Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dre is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Malaki Jr has managed to free his arm - good work.

Dre seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Malaki Jr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Dre lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Malaki Jr down.

Malaki Jr is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dre can do to turn this around?
Dre has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Malaki Jr finds it's way round the side to connect with Dre's head.

Dre is rocked!
Malaki Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dre is still on wobbly legs! Can Malaki Jr finish him?
Malaki Jr scores with the left hand. Dre knows he should have avoided that one.
Dre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Malaki Jr tries to avoid it but Dre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Malaki Jr to the ground. Malaki Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dre's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Malaki Jr connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dre scrambles back to his feet.
BOOM! Malaki Jr lands a beautiful left hook that drops Dre. Dre tries to recover but Malaki Jr is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Dre lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
