Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Hakob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunner Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Harris holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Harris closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hakob quickly recovers to half guard.
Harris uses his free foot to push down on Hakob's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hakob.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harris has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hakob is landing a low percentage of strikes.
