The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knows throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
An inside leg kick lands from Alexander.
Knows is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A clash of legs there as Knows blocks the low kick.
Knows throws a right and a left that Alexander avoids nicely.
Alexander avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Knows takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Knows keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Alexander lands a nice short elbow.

Alexander uses his free foot to push down on Knows's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Knows.
