The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Sum or perhaps it was just good defense by Parker, which made it look bad.
Sum tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Parker defends well and Sum ends up having to push Parker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sum shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Parker defends it nicely.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sum can do anything to dispel that myth.
