Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between JD Wildstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timo Yo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Yö - Likaiset Legendat. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, JD Wildstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Timo Yo!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wildstein swivels and escapes.
Timo Yo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Yo with that takedown attempt.
Yo misses with a hook. Wildstein ducked under it nicely.
Yo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Wildstein.
Wildstein connects with a leg kick. Yo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Wildstein lands a front kick.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Wildstein - that will leave a mark!
Yo digs a good hook to Wildstein's body.
Yo throws a shot from downtown. Wildstein moves away and avoids it.
Yo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wildstein manages to avoid it.
Wildstein looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Wildstein lands a nice shot to the body.
A head kick misses from Wildstein.
Wildstein seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Yo thumps Wildstein with a low kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wildstein doesn't seem bothered though.
Wildstein misses with a body kick.
We've been informed that Yo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Wildstein uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yo.
Wildstein lands with a thumping leg kick.
Yo avoids a kick to the body.
Yo moves out of range of the body kick.
Wildstein tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Yo is able to avoid easily.
Yo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wildstein throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Wildstein feints and then cracks Yo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yo down.
Yo throws a combination that misses
and Wildstein counters with a slapping leg kick.
Yo lands with a hook. Wildstein tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wildstein throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wildstein will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Yo misses with a few strikes there.
Wildstein tries to land a front kick but Yo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Yo throws a jab but it's blocked by Wildstein.
Yo throws a combination that misses
and Wildstein counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Yo moves into the clinch successfully.
Wildstein lands with a short shot to the head.
Wildstein lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Yo backwards.
Yo is trying to maintain a safe position but Wildstein gets an underhook and turns Yo into the cage.
Yo wants to get back to striking at distance but Wildstein won't allow it.
Yo tries to stall but Wildstein uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Still in the clinch, Yo scores with a nice short uppercut.
Yo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wildstein fights it off and pushes away nicely.
JD Wildstein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timo Yo.
Yo misses the shot to the body.
Wildstein throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Yo takes a swing at Wildstein's ribcage but misses.
Nice cross by Wildstein.
Wildstein turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Yo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Yo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Yo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yo moves out of range of the body kick.
Yo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wildstein moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Yo looks to throw the jab but Wildstein is out of range.
Wildstein waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Yo.
Wildstein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Yo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wildstein misses with a head kick.
Yo tries to clinch there but Wildstein circles away.
Yo on the wrong end of a nice jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wildstein scores with the left hand. Yo knows he should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wildstein displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yo throws out the jab.
Yo throws a right hand that Wildstein ducks under and follows up with a left that Wildstein also avoids with ease.
Yo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wildstein manages to avoid it.
Yo is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wildstein rather than just go for the knockout.
Yo moves out of range as Wildstein strikes.
Yo wants to clinch
and Wildstein counters with a solid body kick.
Yo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wildstein bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Yo's head.


Yo is rocked!
A combination from Yo does no damage.
Yo is still on wobbly legs! Can Wildstein finish him?
Yo drops his hands momentarily and Wildstein takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wildstein fakes the body blow, causing Yo to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Yo goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
