Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tigger Barracuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Barton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barton darts in looking for a takedown but Barracuda gets double underhooks and turns Barton into the cage.
Barracuda has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Barton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Barracuda tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Barton smiles and moves away.
Barton shoots for a takedown but Barracuda saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Barracuda tries to clinch but Barton is having none of it.
Barracuda looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Barracuda throws a jab when Barton was well out of range.
Barracuda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barton moves away.
Barracuda takes a swing at Barton's ribcage but misses.
Barracuda connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A big left from Barracuda misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Barracuda is trying to pull guard but Barton turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tigger Barracuda. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Barton breaks from the clinch.
Barton keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Barracuda dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Barracuda tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barton was well out of range. Poor timing from Barracuda.
Barton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Barracuda counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Barracuda.
Barracuda works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Barton slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Barton wants to hit a switch here but Barracuda passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Barton there!
Barton is wriggling around trying to escape.

Barracuda looking to control but Barton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Barracuda has hold of Barton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Barton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Barracuda wants to control the pace but Barton is squirming around nicely.
Barton is in all sorts of trouble here.

Barracuda goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Barton turns into him and now he's in Barracuda's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Barton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barracuda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barton has managed to get both his arms back between Barracuda's legs - danger averted.
