Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cosmo Oarsman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Harris!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harris manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Oarsman on his heels. He'll look to pass Oarsman's guard now, I'm sure.
Harris stands and throws Oarsman's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Harris is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Oarsman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Harris has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Oarsman!
Oarsman wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Harris.
Harris has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Oarsman tries to hold on but Harris postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee warns Oarsman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Harris throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Oarsman because Harris loaded up on that one.
Harris avoids the attempt from Oarsman to control.

Oarsman tries to lock up and control but Harris gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harris fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Oarsman is trying to escape the mount.
Harris throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Harris throws some wild stikes that Oarsman manages to avoid easily.
Harris lands a big shot there that rocks Oarsman but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Harris controlling the position easily from mount.
Oarsman is trying to escape the mount.
Harris scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Oarsman?
Oarsman is looking to get to half guard.
