Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donte Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Lester Marcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Donte Gray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kim Lester Marcos!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcos tries to clinch but Gray moves out of range.

Marcos gets tackled into the cage by Gray. Gray maintains the clinch.
Marcos drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gray instigates a clinch.
Marcos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gray after a bit of a struggle.

Marcos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gray defends it easily.

Gray has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Marcos is proving hard to escape from.
Gray could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

and Gray makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Marcos really felt that one!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Marcos enables Gray to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Marcos manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Gray is looking to stand up but Marcos won't let him.

We've been informed that Marcos has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Gray manages to break the clinch.

Gray shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gray showed some decent athleticism there.
Gray throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Marcos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gray pulls his head out easily.
Gray tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Marcos.

Marcos utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Gray avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Gray closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Marcos's guard.

Marcos lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gray holds on and takes a little breather.

That was a close second round but I would say that Donte Gray will probably get the nod.

Marcos looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Gray is defending well. Marcos quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gray has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Marcos celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Kim Lester Marcos tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
