The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ulhaq is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blanco.
Jab, jab by Blanco - just one landing.
Ulhaq shoots in and drives through. Blanco sprawls well.
Blanco has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ulhaq is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ulhaq on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ulhaq is defended easily by Blanco.
We've been hearing reports that Ulhaq has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Blanco fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Ulhaq to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Ulhaq looks to clinch but Blanco throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Ulhaq taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
