Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Uebishe Lesnoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnoe's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, It's On!. Turk has chosen Status Quo- Deeper and Down as his entrance music. Uebishe Lesnoe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Braden Turk's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Braden Turk!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnoe wants to slow Turk down by chopping away at his legs.
Braden Turk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Lesnoe. No joy for Turk on that attempt.
Lesnoe bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Lesnoe misses with a kick to the body.
Turk missing with a left hand there. Lesnoe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Lesnoe moves forwards but Turk connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Turk will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Turk clobbers Lesnoe with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Lesnoe throws a leg kick but Turk sees it coming and moves out of range.

and Lesnoe makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Turk really felt that one!

Turk gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Turk blocks a low kick nicely.

Turk drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lesnoe is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Lesnoe wants to control but Turk is keeping busy.
Lesnoe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Turk looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lesnoe with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lesnoe has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Turk working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Turk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lesnoe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Turk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Turk is looking to work some ground and pound but Lesnoe has wrist control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Turk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lesnoe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turk doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turk manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lesnoe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Turk defends it easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Turk's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lesnoe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Turk scrambles back to his feet.

Lesnoe is looking to cinch up a triangle. Turk throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lesnoe's body to avoid the submission. Lesnoe has instead reached around Turk's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lesnoe arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
