Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Karlo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoni Kristofer Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). He arrived on a last minute flight shortly after looking tired and unhappy. Officials decided the fight should still take place, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlo throws a hook but Hong avoids it easily.
Karlo scores with a kick to the body.
Hong scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Karlo lands with a nice body punch.
Karlo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hong.

We've been informed that Hong has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Karlo lands a big head kick that sends Hong tumbling to the mat! Karlo takes a step backwards and waves Hong back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hong is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Karlo.
Hong takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Karlo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Karlo connects with a solid leg kick.
Karlo smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The cut above Antoni Kristofer Hong's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Karlo is looking to slow Hong down with leg kicks.

Karlo connects with a crisp jab.
Karlo cracks Hong with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hong looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Karlo finish him?
Hong is still on wobbly legs! Can Karlo finish him?
Antoni Kristofer Hong's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Karlo lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Hong up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Karlo from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Hong's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mario Karlo!
