Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silvean Maxiq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Zombie - Dragula . Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Silvean Maxiq!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Maxiq.
Maxiq throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brown counters with a right hand to the body.
Maxiq misses with an uppercut.
Brown throws a quick counter head kick but Maxiq was just out of range.
Maxiq throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brown counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Silvean Maxiq seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
An inside leg kick lands from Maxiq.
Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maxiq circles away quickly and effectively.
Maxiq throws a big shot that misses.
Brown changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Maxiq throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Brown tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Maxiq manages to circle out of the way.
Maxiq misses with an uppercut.
As Maxiq looks to move away, Brown throws a big counter combo bu Maxiq just gets out of the way.
Maxiq avoids the head kick by Brown.
Maxiq ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away.
A counter left hand to the body from Brown misses its target.
Maxiq throws the left hand but Brown avoids the punch easily.
A quick step to the side and Brown tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Maxiq throws an off balance right hand
enabling Brown to counter with a crisp jab.
Maxiq swings widly with a right hand
and Brown counters with a head kick.

Maxiq is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brown and Maxiq are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Brown throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Maxiq into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Brown knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Matt Brown decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
