Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lias Kota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Kasprzyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lias Kota could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sebastian Kasprzyk's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lias Kota!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sebastian Kasprzyk!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kota moves out of range of the body kick from Kasprzyk.

Kota drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kota throwing shots but missing, from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kota with the ground and pound but Kasprzyk regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Kota is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kasprzyk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kota. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kasprzyk keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kasprzyk is defending against the submission attempts here by Kota.

Kota drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kasprzyk pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kota throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kasprzyk's waist but Kasprzyk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kota off to one side.
Kasprzyk fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kota on the side of the head.


It looks like Lias Kota has been cut.
Kasprzyk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kota gets a takedown into half guard.
Kota stops Kasprzyk from getting back to his feet.

Kota is looking for a kimura here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kota missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Kota sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kasprzyk defending well though.
Kota not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Kota is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kasprzyk sees it coming and defends easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kota prevents Kasprzyk from standing back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A close round but Sebastian Kasprzyk will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kota shoots for a takedown but Kasprzyk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sebastian Kasprzyk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kota fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kasprzyk to the ground. Kota is now in Kasprzyk's guard.
Kasprzyk utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kota drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kota jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kota content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Kota lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Kota postures up in Kasprzyk's guard and throws a big left but Kasprzyk blocks it.
Kota in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Kota throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kasprzyk works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kota accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kota throws an elbow that misses. Kasprzyk uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kota's guard. Nice move by Kasprzyk!


Kota looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Kota is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kasprzyk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kota has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kasprzyk has managed to get both his arms back between Kota's legs - danger averted.

Kota looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kasprzyk won't allow Kota to sweep him here.

Kota escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kasprzyk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kota is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kasprzyk is aware though and is defending well.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Kota working for a triangle but Kasprzyk defends it easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kasprzyk has managed to clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kota has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kasprzyk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kasprzyk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kota is proving hard to escape from.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lias Kota will probably get the nod.

That's time! Kota's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Kota shoots in but no luck this time.
Kota takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kasprzyk lands a nice looking body kick.
Kota takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kasprzyk fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kota has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kasprzyk lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
