Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kelson Kawai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Bob is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kelson Kawai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bob!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob swinging wildly here.
Bob lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kawai circles away quickly and effectively.
Kawai will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kawai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bob rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kawai moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bob has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kawai tries a head kick but it misses.
Kawai looks to land a left hand but Bob moved out of range nicely.
Bob looks to land a combination but Kawai avoids it well.
Bob lands with an overhand left.
Kawai takes one to the side of the head.

Kawai is rocked!
Kawai dodges the punch combination from Bob.
Oh Kawai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bob connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kawai tumbling to the canvas! Bob pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kawai was done - good stoppage!
