Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Fynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Opdauhl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry Opdauhl acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fynn ducks under a wild hook from Opdauhl.
Bob Fynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fynn has closed the distance and engaged Opdauhl in a clinch.

Fynn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Opdauhl doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Fynn throws a push kick but Opdauhl slaps the foot to one side.
Opdauhl walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Opdauhl closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fynn throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

and Fynn counters with a left and a right that stings Opdauhl.

Fynn went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Fynn cracks Opdauhl with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Opdauhl throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

A nice right hand lands inside from Opdauhl.
Fynn wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Opdauhl misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Fynn.

Fynn pulls guard successfully.
Opdauhl throwing strikes but missing.
Opdauhl postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Fynn wants to stand up but Opdauhl is controlling him.
Opdauhl with a flurry of punches that miss.
Opdauhl throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fynn works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Opdauhl accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Opdauhl moves away from the strike by Fynn.
Fynn misses with a few strikes there.
Fynn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Opdauhl.
Opdauhl takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fynn looks to land a combination but Opdauhl avoids it well.

Opdauhl connects with a right hand. Fynn shakes it off.
Opdauhl throws a body shot but no joy.

Opdauhl displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fynn throws out the jab.
Opdauhl throws out a loose jab but Fynn uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Fynn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Fynn drives through and clinches with Opdauhl against the cage.
Opdauhl scores with a shoulder strike.
Opdauhl fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Opdauhl scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Opdauhl throws a punch but it's blocked by Fynn.

Fynn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Fynn seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
A jab from Opdauhl does it's job there.
Some wild striking there from Fynn.
Fynn takes one to the side of the head.
Fynn fails to land the takedown.

Opdauhl lands with a light punch inside.
Opdauhl fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Opdauhl lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Fynn is rocked!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bob Fynn will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Opdauhl is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Oh Fynn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Opdauhl, right into the meat.
Fynn seems to have got his legs back now.
Fynn sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and Fynn is countered with a crisp right hand from Opdauhl that sends him to the canvas! Opdauhl follows him to the mat into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fynn wants to get back to his feet but Opdauhl drags him back down.

Opdauhl slips a nice elbow through Fynn's hands, connecting with Fynn's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Opdauhl is trying to control the action in half guard but Fynn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Fynn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Opdauhl sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
