Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cael Shaughnessy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Banyat Pu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaughnessy's entrance music is I Against I - Massive Attack & Mos Def. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shaughnessy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shaughnessy throws a hook but Pu blocks it.

Shaughnessy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shaughnessy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close round but I would say that Cael Shaughnessy will probably get the nod.
