Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hong Holden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateus Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hong Holden has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hong Holden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mateus Jesus!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jesus looks to clinch

and Holden counters by clinching up.
Holden using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jesus has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Holden jumps guard and drags Jesus to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jesus won't allow Holden to sweep him here.
Holden pulls Jesus in close to prevent any damage.

Jesus feints and as Holden raises his hands in defense, Jesus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jesus won't allow Holden to get back to his feet.

Jesus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The strikes coming from Holden are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Holden in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

You can see the frustration on Jesus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Jesus throws Holden to one side and escapes!

Holden closes the distance and clinches.
A frustrated look appears on Jesus's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Jesus throws a body kick that misses.
Jesus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jesus wants it to stay on the feet.
Jesus misses with a double jab.

Holden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jesus is trying to control Holden's posture but Holden avoids it.
Holden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Holden misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Jesus is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Holden has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Holden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jesus is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Jesus is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Holden swats away the attempt to clinch by Jesus.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Holden enables Jesus to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Holden manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Holden has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Jesus is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Holden looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Holden leaves Jesus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Holden wants to advance to full mount but Jesus doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holden accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Holden stands up over Jesus, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Holden postures up in Jesus's guard and throws a big left but Jesus blocks it.

Jesus goes for a double leg but Holden avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Holden continues to drive forward.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jesus is trying to maintain a safe position but Holden gets an underhook and turns Jesus into the cage.

Holden lands a takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Holden's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Holden shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jesus as he avoids it easily.
Jesus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Holden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Holden, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
