Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Belshiknolav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ivan Belshiknolav!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Smith!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands with a nice body punch.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Belshiknolav takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Smith on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Belshiknolav. Belshiknolav obviously looking to wear him down.
We've been told by Belshiknolav's head coaches at Rape Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Belshiknolav - that will leave a mark!
Belshiknolav feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Smith's calf.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Belshiknolav quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
We've been informed that Smith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Smith throws out a loose jab but Belshiknolav uses good head movement to avoid it.

Belshiknolav breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Belshiknolav needs to keep his hands up - Smith had a free shot at his head there.
Good leg kick by Smith there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Belshiknolav throws a body kick that misses.
Belshiknolav checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Smith digs a good hook to Belshiknolav's body.
Belshiknolav takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Smith manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Smith drops Belshiknolav onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Belshiknolav is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Smith pushes Belshiknolav against the cage. Smith is working some dirty boxing. Smith pushes off with a quick right hook! Belshiknolav goes down! Belshiknolav tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Smith moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremy Smith!
