PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Perosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stepan Razin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perosh might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Danny Brown - Grown Up. Razin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Oy Da Ne Vecher. Jeremy Perosh had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy Perosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stepan Razin!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perosh lands a nice leg kick that just misses Razin's sensitive parts.
Perosh throws a nice head kick!
Perosh tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Despite the aggression on Razin's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Perosh throws a body shot but no joy.
Perosh tries to clinch but Razin moves out of range.
Perosh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Razin. That did some damage!
Razin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Razin misses with a series of wild punches.
Perosh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Perosh darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Razin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Razin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Perosh cracks Razin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Razin misses with the combination.
Stepan Razin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perosh takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Perosh. Razin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Razin looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Razin throws a jab when Perosh was well out of range.
Razin throws a lazy right hand but Perosh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice defenses there by Perosh.

Perosh tries to throw a body punch but Razin avoids it by throwing Perosh back against the cage.
Perosh lands a right hand that snaps the head of Razin backwards.

Perosh blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Razin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Perosh just stands there and leans against the cage.
Perosh makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Perosh blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Razin blocks a body shot from Perosh.
Razin wants to break free but Perosh has control.
Razin has had enough of the clinch but Perosh keeps him there for the moment.

Perosh swings wildly with an uppercut but Razin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Perosh scores with a hook to the body.
Razin looks winded!
Razin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jeremy Perosh dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Perosh wants to clinch up but Razin keeps it at a distance.
Razin dodges the punch combination from Perosh.
That kick from Perosh tenderised Razin's leg. Razin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Perosh misses with a double jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Razin misses the target.
Razin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Perosh works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Razin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Razin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Razin throws a right hand that Perosh ducks under and follows up with a left that Perosh also avoids with ease.
Perosh scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Perosh catches Razin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Perosh throws a body punch but Razin moves out of range.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Perosh throws a shot to the body.
Razin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perosh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Perosh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Razin on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Razin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Perosh.
Razin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Perosh is looking to wear down Razin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Razin is breathing heavily.

Perosh lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


Razin is rocked!
Perosh works over Razin's head and body with a nice combination.
Razin is still on wobbly legs! Can Perosh finish him?
Perosh lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Razin crumples to the floor! Perosh milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jeremy Perosh!
A relieved looking Jeremy Perosh thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Stepan Razin spoke after the fight, saying 'Thank you to my fans for always support and believe. I sorry I'm no win. Congratulations Tso. You are true champion. Thank you everybody.'.
