Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Palahnuik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes into the arena with Shadow on the Sun blaring out of the sound system. Palahnuik has chosen Machine Civilization as his entrance music. Ice Man could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pete Palahnuik's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Palahnuik misses the shot to the body.
Palahnuik clobbers Man with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Man takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Palahnuik fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Man has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Palahnuik digs a good hook to Man's body.
Palahnuik has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Palahnuik explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Man checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Man is looking to counter punch.
Pete Palahnuik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palahnuik throws a lazy right hand but Man sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Man wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Palahnuik on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Man lands a jab to the nose.

Palahnuik connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Man momentarily.
Man is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Man has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Palahnuik.
Man looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Palahnuik swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Man counters with a crisp right hand that drops Palahnuik! Man lets Palahnuik back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

A little feinted left hand from Man on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Palahnuik seems to have recovered his senses.
Palahnuik swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Man tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Palahnuik was well out of range. Poor timing from Man.

and Man counters with a crisp right hand that drops Palahnuik! Man lets Palahnuik back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
A jab from Man misses.
Man cracks Palahnuik with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Palahnuik falls to his knees and Man doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Ice Man thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
