Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Woody May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alak Aksornpan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). May kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Watch you Bleed by FFDP. Aksornpan has chosen Thai National Anthem - as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alak Aksornpan!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aksornpan moves out of range of the strikes.
Aksornpan misses with a low kick.
Aksornpan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
May scores with the left hand. Aksornpan knows he should have avoided that one.


It looks like Alak Aksornpan has been cut.
Aksornpan blocks a jab.
Woody May seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

May rushes Aksornpan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
May misses with a short punch on the inside.
May is struggling to control the position.

Aksornpan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

May decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Aksornpan, up you get!

The fight stays on the outside here - May looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
May doesn't manage to clinch there - Aksornpan circles away.
A left and a right from Aksornpan both land. Nice combination.

May fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Aksornpan manages to avoid it.

Aksornpan connects with a leg kick. May looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

May tries to clinch but Aksornpan is having none of it.
