Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Pot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes into the arena with Rob Zombie - Scum of the earth blaring out of the sound system. Pot has chosen Showering of Money as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Pot!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves throws a leg kick but Pot sees it coming and moves out of range.
Pot ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Alves misses with a looping left.
Alves is looking to chop away at Pot's legs.
Pot throws a counter combo.
Pot darts in looking for a takedown but Alves gets double underhooks and turns Pot into the cage.
As Pot tries to get set, Alves tries to push him back and clinch up but Pot manages to avoid the attempt.
Alves lands with a hook. Pot tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Pot fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alves avoids it really well and circles away.

Pot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alves tries to avoid it but Pot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alves to the ground. Alves escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Alves uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pot.
Alves does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Pot throws a right hand that Alves ducks under and follows up with a left that Alves also avoids with ease.
Alves tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pot swats him away and circles back towards the center.
