PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julio Andre Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ethan Tran was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tran looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Souza avoids the head kick by Tran.
A nice leg kick lands there from Tran.
Tran lands with an uppercut that bounces Souza off the cage and back into range.

Tran has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Souza escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Souza!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Souza tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Souza has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

You can see the frustration on Souza's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Tran is fighting off a takedown attempt but Souza is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tran to the mat. Tran regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Tran has isolated one of Souza's arms. Souza looking to fight him off but Tran twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
