Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thaddeus Anthony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateus Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mateus Jesus is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jesus looks to land a combination but Anthony avoids it well.
Anthony misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jesus scores with a kick to the midsection.

Jesus closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jesus lands in his opponent's guard.
Jesus is looking to stand up but Anthony won't let him.

Anthony throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jesus escapes and throws Anthony's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Jesus gets tackled into the cage by Anthony. Anthony maintains the clinch.

Anthony has clasped his hands together around Jesus's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Jesus tries to buck Anthony off but Anthony is having none of it.

Mateus Jesus is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Anthony has hold of Jesus's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jesus tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Anthony cranks the arm and Jesus screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jesus, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
