Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reuben Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiky Peace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jiky Peace will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peace gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Santana to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Peace has his hands on Santana's head, controlling the position.

Peace is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Santana preventing the sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santana working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Peace looking to control.

Santana postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Peace wants to improve his position but instead Santana has moved into half guard.
Peace trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santana thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Peace's head.
Santana throwing shots but Peace is blocking nicely.
Peace tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Santana has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Santana is in the full mount, landing strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Santana lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Jiky Peace has been cut.
Peace tries to lock up and control but Santana gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Santana pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

That has opened up Jiky Peace's cut even more.
Peace tries to hold on but Santana pushes him away.
Peace is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Peace tries to lock up and control but Santana gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Peace is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Santana is staying active.

The cut above Jiky Peace's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Jiky Peace's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jiky Peace's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
