Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Carzola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain Dos Santos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carzola stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
No luck for Carzola with that takedown attempt.
A nice side step and Dos Santos releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Dos Santos jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Diego Carzola has been cut.

and Carzola counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Carzola.

Carzola pulls guard successfully.
Carzola might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dos Santos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carzola is proving hard to escape from.

Carzola bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dos Santos's guard.

Carzola controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Dos Santos is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Carzola looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dos Santos is fending him off so far but Carzola persists. Nope, Dos Santos circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd cheers as Dos Santos lands an impressive looking overhand right. Carzola doesn't seem phased though.
Carzola closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Dos Santos throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carzola on the side of the head.
Dos Santos has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

and Dos Santos counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
