Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Merik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Comfortably Numb. Clark has chosen All Fired Up as his entrance music. Eddie Clark has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Hunt comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hunt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clark manages to avoid it.
Clark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hunt.
Clark stuffs the takedown.
Clark takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hunt throws a shot from downtown. Clark moves away and avoids it.
Clark lands with a nice body kick.
Hunt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hunt connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Clark momentarily.
Clark is looking to clinch but Hunt is avoiding it.
Clark looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clark throws a body kick that misses.
Hunt shoots in but no luck this time.
Clark cracks Hunt with an open hand slap.
Hunt looks to land a combination. Clark sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clark throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Clark misses the jab.
Clark blocks a leg kick.
Hunt misses with a leg kick
and Clark counters with a low kick, right behind Hunt 's knee.
Hunt throws a right and a left that both miss.
Clark misses with a head kick.
Clark ducks under a wild hook from Hunt.
Clark misses with a two punch combination.
Hunt thuds a left hand into Clark's body.
Hunt throws a chopping leg kick but Clark manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hunt looks to throw the jab but Clark is out of range.
Hunt takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hunt thumps Clark with a low kick.
We've been hearing reports that Hunt has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Hunt lands the left hand.
Clark tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hunt was well out of range. Poor timing from Clark.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clark throws a solid leg kick but Hunt takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Clark.
A decent looking cross lands there for Clark.
Eddie Clark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hunt dips to his left and cracks Clark with an uppercut!
Clark throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
BOOM! Clark lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hunt. Hunt tries to recover but Clark is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hunt lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Clark!
During a confident post fight interview, Eddie Clark thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
