Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kunta Kinte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul comes into the arena with Volbeat-Warrior's call blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that Ethan Paul has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ethan Paul seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paul pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kinte is out of range and Paul settles back down.
Paul shoots in and drives through. Kinte sprawls well.
Kinte tries to counter by closing the distance.
Paul swings for the body but Kinte moves out of range.
Kinte ducks under a wild hook from Paul.
Paul pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kinte thinks about the counter body kick.
Kinte scores with a jab to the body.
Paul tries to land a front kick but Kinte steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Paul fails with the takedown.
Paul closes the distance and clinches up with Kinte, looking for a takedown. Paul pushes Kinte against the cage but Kinte circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Paul. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Paul takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Ethan Paul has been cut.
Paul motions for Kinte to come forward. Paul throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
