Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ludwik Bourbon Conde!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bourbon Conde shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Harris is trying to defend but Bourbon Conde finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bourbon Conde is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Harris sees it coming and defends easily.
Harris wants to improve his position but Bourbon Conde is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bourbon Conde is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Harris doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bourbon Conde.

Bourbon Conde is working for a kimura but Harris is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bourbon Conde is working for an americana but Harris has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Bourbon Conde was thinking about the submission.
Harris wants to sweep but no luck.

Harris has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bourbon Conde can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bourbon Conde wants to work for an arm triangle but Harris is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Harris slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Harris wants to sweep here but Bourbon Conde controlling him for the moment.
Harris controls Bourbon Conde momentarily but Bourbon Conde frees himself.

Bourbon Conde has gone for a leg lock! Harris slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bourbon Conde's guard.

Our spies down at at Sanitarium inform us that Bourbon Conde has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Harris pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bourbon Conde is keeping the position for now.

Bourbon Conde working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harris doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harris manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Harris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bourbon Conde is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Harris is keen to just control but Bourbon Conde is a slippery customer.

Harris is looking for a kimura here.
Harris prevents Bourbon Conde from improving his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Harris connects with a nice short shot to Bourbon Conde's temple.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ludwik Bourbon Conde will probably get the nod.
That's time! Harris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bourbon Conde.

Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bourbon Conde swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bourbon Conde shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harris defends it nicely.
Phil Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ludwik Bourbon Conde.
Bourbon Conde takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bourbon Conde darts in looking for a takedown but Harris gets double underhooks and turns Bourbon Conde into the cage.
Harris stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harris wants it to stay on the feet.
Bourbon Conde shoots in but Harris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bourbon Conde gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Harris wants to control the pace but Bourbon Conde is squirming around nicely.
Bourbon Conde is looking to improve his position but Harris isn't that keen on the idea.

Harris seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bourbon Conde is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
