The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stacks throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Stacks lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Stacks fails in his attempt to clinch.
Carroll misses with an uppercut.
Stacks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carroll paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stacks scores with the left hand. Carroll knows he should have avoided that one.
Stacks tries to clinch but Carroll moves out of range.
Stacks missing with a left hand there. Carroll was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Andy Carroll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carroll steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Stacks. That one must have hurt.
Stacks moves away from the strike by Carroll.
Stacks ducks under a wild hook from Carroll.
It seemed like Stacks was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Stacks moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Stacks lands a body shot.
Stacks has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Carroll is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Carroll lands the left hand.

It looks like Lennox Stacks has been cut.

Carroll sends Stacks crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Carroll is motioning to the referee to let Stacks up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Stacks will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

A very excited looking Andy Carroll rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
