Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between JT Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Redman lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Nichols goes down! The ref sends Redman to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Nichols is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

Nichols keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Nichols fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Redman manages to avoid it.
Redman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nicholss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nichols wants to clinch up but Redman keeps it at a distance.

Redman fires out a quick counter leg kick but Nichols just manages to avoid it.
Redman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nichols has time to react.

Nichols throws a leg kick which misses Redman's front leg but catches the back leg as Redman tries to avoid it.
Nichols throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nichols has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Redman.
The fighters circling - Redman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nichols blocks a low kick nicely.
Nichols steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Redman.
Nichols tries to clinch but Redman is having none of it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Nichols darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nichols is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Redman.
Redman looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

and Redman counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

JT Redman takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Scott Nichols was lucky to get out of the first round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That kick from Redman tenderised Nichols's leg. Nichols is trying to keep his angry face on.
It looks like Redman has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Nichols takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Redman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nichols momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Redman connects with a quick right hand that sends Nichols tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

After the fight, JT Redman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
