Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kid Diddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azar Qasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qasi has chosen For Whom The Bell Tolls as his entrance music. Azar Qasi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kid Diddler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Azar Qasi!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qasi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diddler is looking to counter punch.
Qasi feints a jab promting Diddler to slip. Qasi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Diddler slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Qasi misses with a few strikes there.
Sloppy strikes from Diddler. Those never looked like landing.
Diddler defending well as Qasi loads up on a big left hand.
Diddler displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Qasi throws out the jab.

Diddler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Qasi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Diddler throws a lazy right hand but Qasi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Qasi! But no joy.
Azar Qasi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Qasi throws a nice looking combination but Diddler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Qasi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Diddler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Qasi might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Qasi misses with a hook. Diddler ducked under it nicely.
Qasi is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Qasi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Diddler tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Qasi defends well and Diddler ends up having to push Qasi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Diddler has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Qasi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Qasi throws a right hand that Diddler ducks under and follows up with a left that Diddler also avoids with ease.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Diddler moves in looking to clinch but Qasi pushes him off.

Qasi connects with a single shot there.

Qasi felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Diddler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Qasi manages to work his way to half guard, despite Diddler's best efforts.

Diddler drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diddler jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Qasi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Diddler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Qasi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diddler has managed to get both his arms back between Qasi's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kid Diddler will probably get the nod.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Qasi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Qasi is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Diddler has his hands clasped together but Qasi extends and breaks Diddler's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Qasi.
