Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laurleen Mabeaute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laurleen Mabeaute will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabeaute misses with a takedown

and Butler holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mabeaute looking to stall.

Butler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Butler leaves Mabeaute with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Butler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Butler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
