Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chung Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tonna Emmanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Emmanuel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Emmanuel postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Gonzalez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Emmanuel throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Gonzalez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Emmanuel tries to roll over but Gonzalez keeps him under control.
Emmanuel is trying to stand up here but Gonzalez is controlling him well.
Emmanuel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Emmanuel is trying to maintain the position but Gonzalez is very close to passing his half guard.
Emmanuel wants to get back to his feet.

Gonzalez blocks the strikes from Emmanuel.
Emmanuel tries to kick Gonzalez off but Gonzalez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Emmanuel tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Gonzalez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Emmanuel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Emmanuel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gonzalez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gonzalez's back!

Emmanuel is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Gonzalez has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Gonzalez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Emmanuel on the ground.
