Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Papa Shango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Tin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Shango's head backwards.
Tin throws a looping overhand right but Shango ducks down to avoid it.
Shango shoots for a double leg takedown but Tin sprawls well. He's pushed Shango's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Shango fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tin's coach down at Foot Loves was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The Tin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shango displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tin throws out the jab.
Tin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Shango shoots for a double leg takedown but Tin sprawls well. He's pushed Shango's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Papa Shango. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tin misses with an uppercut. Shango saw that one coming.
Shango uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tin.

Shango clinches up with Tin and pushes him back against the cage.
Shango jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tin walks away with a smile on his face. Shango gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tin scores with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shango misses with a takedown attempt - Tin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tin lands a jab to the head.

Shango has closed the distance and engaged Tin in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shango tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Tin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Tin breaks the clinch.

The Tin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Shango fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tin sprawls well initially but Shango persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tin scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Shango manages to mount him!
Shango tries to control but Tin wriggling away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shango is really struggling to control Tin but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Shango throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Tin has his hands clasped together but Shango breaks the hold and Tin is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Shango!
