Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ellsworth Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wallace Dandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ellsworth Patton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wallace Dandy!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dandy pinned against the cage. Dandy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Patton scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dandy wants to control but Patton postures up.

Patton goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dandy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Patton but great work by Dandy.

Dandy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Patton is looking to reverse the position.
Dandy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Patton keeps working.

Dandy goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Patton rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dandy's guard! Nice work there by Patton!
Patton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dandy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Patton wants to stand but Dandy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Wallace Dandy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Patton gets control of Dandy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Patton will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dandy is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dandy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Patton is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Patton has escaped and now he's on top!

Dandy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Patton is working away from the top position though.

Patton lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Patton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Patton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Dandy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Patton should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dandy has tightened it up now! Patton should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
