Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elmo Salty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atlas Kartos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salty kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gonna Fly Now. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salty throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kartos throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kartos avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kartos getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kartos throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Salty to counter with a crisp jab.
Kartos throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Elmo Salty has been cut.
Kartos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Salty counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Salty tries a head kick but it misses.
Kartos pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kartos throws a right and a left that Salty avoids nicely.
A head kick from Kartos lands but Salty takes it in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Salty counters with an inside leg kick.

Kartos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kartos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kartos lands a big head kick that sends Salty tumbling to the mat! Kartos takes a step backwards and waves Salty back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kartos will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Salty throws a leg kick which misses Kartos's front leg but catches the back leg as Kartos tries to avoid it.
Salty dodges the punch combination from Kartos.
Salty was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Salty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
and Kartos counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Salty! He's just covering up as Kartos starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
