Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Claymore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Claymore has chosen Limb by Limb as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Winston Claymore enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis Tate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Winston Claymore!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Tate shoots in and drives through. Claymore sprawls well.
Tate fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Claymore is out of range.
Claymore throws a body punch but Tate moves out of range.
Claymore scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Tate tries for a takedown but Claymore sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tate could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Tate sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Claymore scores with a head kick. Tate tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Tate dives in and grabs Claymore's left leg, looking for a takedown. Claymore pushes down on Tate's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Claymore is looking to improve his position but Tate isn't that keen on the idea.

Claymore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tate. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Claymore rolls, trying to escape but Tate keeps control of the position.
Tate has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Claymore's body.

Tate really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Claymore.
Tate has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Claymore swings wildly with an uppercut but Tate uses good head movement to avoid it.

Winston Claymore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Tate's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Tate is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Claymore can't fight it off and eventually Tate manages to take the fight to the floor. Claymore looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Claymore has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tate is working away from the top position though.
Claymore is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Claymore is looking to break free of the clinch but Tate has double underhooks.
Tate has Claymore pressed against the cage, preventing Claymore from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Claymore has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Tate's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tate gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Claymore.
Winston Claymore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Tate shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Claymore napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Claymore is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Tate is staying active.
Tate remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Tate decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Claymore throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Curtis Tate is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Claymore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Claymore clobbers Tate with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Claymore keeps Tate at a distance using the push kick.
Claymore scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tate doesn't seem bothered though.
Claymore lands a nice shot that snaps Tate's head back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Claymore feints and then cracks Tate's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tate down.
Both fighters circling a little - Claymore finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Winston Claymore.
I think Claymore has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
