And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome Seinfeld!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seinfeld throws a leg kick that is checked

and Kasady counters with a takedown into side control.

Kasady tries to move to mount but Seinfeld blocks the move with his legs.

Kasady really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Seinfeld.
Seinfeld breaks Kasady's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cletus Kasady dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Kasady shoots in but Seinfeld avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Seinfeld uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kasady has time to react.
Seinfeld fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kasady has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kasady shoots in looking for a takedown but Seinfeld manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kasady's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kasady dives in for a single leg takedown but Seinfeld sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cletus Kasady. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kasady will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Seinfeld throws a front kick that sends Kasady stumbling back into the cage.
Seinfeld finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kasady changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Seinfeld buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kasady has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kasady there as he acknowledges the shot.
Good leg kick by Seinfeld there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Seinfeld keeps Kasady at a distance using the push kick.
Kasady doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jerome Seinfeld is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
