Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wallace Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Jose De La Cus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose De La Cus has chosen Jay Z -Takeover as his entrance music. Carter Jose De La Cus has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wallace Owen's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jose De La Cus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Jose De La Cus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jose De La Cus gets caught flat footed, as Owen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Owen gets to his feet. Jose De La Cus looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Owen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jose De La Cus as he jumps to the side.

and Owen counters by moving into the clinch.
Owen tries to pull guard but Jose De La Cus forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Owen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Owen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Owen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jose De La Cus is fending him off so far but Owen persists. Nope, Jose De La Cus circles away and we're back to standing.

Jose De La Cus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Owen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jose De La Cus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Owen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jose De La Cus somewhat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Owen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jose De La Cus on his heels. He'll look to pass Jose De La Cus's guard now, I'm sure.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Owen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Owen content to stall in guard here.

Owen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Owen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Jose De La Cus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Owen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Owen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jose De La Cus manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Owen has Jose De La Cus in his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Owen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jose De La Cus kicks Owen off and gets back to his feet.
Jose De La Cus dives in for a single leg takedown but Owen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Owen effectively controlling the action here.

A close round but Carter Jose De La Cus will probably get the nod.

Jose De La Cus drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Owen dives on top into guard.

Wallace Owen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Owen shoots in and bounces Jose De La Cus off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Owen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jose De La Cus, up you get!

Jose De La Cus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Owen tries to avoid it but Jose De La Cus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Owen to the ground. Owen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wallace Owen.
I think Owen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
