The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Filipov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Filipov is taking a breather. Ray says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Ray is defending against the submission attempts here by Filipov.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Filipov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Filipov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ray circles away quickly and effectively.
Ray shoots in for a double leg but Filipov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Filipov pulls Ray in close to prevent any damage.
Filipov looking to control but Ray passes into half guard.
Filipov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ray.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Filipov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ray misses with a head kick.
Filipov tries to close the distance and clinch but Ray swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Filipov cracks Ray with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ray tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Filipov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ray is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Faddei Filipov!
Faddei Filipov decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
