The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duplesris throws a jab but it's blocked by Apple.
Duplesris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Duplesris jabs Apple right on the nose. Apple blinks but takes it well.
Apple fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Apple throws a head kick but Duplesris moves out of range.
Duplesris throws a sloppy head kick and Apple moves out of range easily.
Duplesris tries a head kick but it misses.
Apple looks for the body kick but Duplesris saw that one coming.
Duplesris moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Ipad Apple has been cut.
Apple tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Apple dives in for a single leg takedown but Duplesris sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Duplesris throws a counter combo.
Duplesris just misses with a punch to the body.
Apple is looking to counter the offense by Duplesris and move into the clinch.
Duplesris lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Apple fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Duplesris avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ipad Apple. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Apple tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Duplesris manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Duplesris swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Apple fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Duplesris counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duplesris lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Duplesris working over Apple with some ground and pound. Apple looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
