Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Koski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koski has chosen Accept - Head Over Heels as his entrance music. Jacob Holm could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Juan Koski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacob Holm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juan Koski!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holm throws a low kick but it's checked well by Koski.
Koski paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


It looks like Jacob Holm has been cut.
Koski's corner calls for a 1-2. Koski obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Holm throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Koski scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A big right from Koski misses.
Koski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Holm sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Holm takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've been told by Holm's head coaches at Socrates' House of Questions that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Koski checks a leg kick.
Koski has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Holm is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Koski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Koski lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Holm lands with a cross.
Holm moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Koski dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Holm. That did some damage!
Koski takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Holm fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Koski is out of range.
Koski looks to score with a jab to the body but Holm is just out of range.
Koski ducks right into an uppercut from Holm.
Holm misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Koski.
Holm misses with a low kick.
Holm does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Holm throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Koski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Holm checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Holm scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Jacob Holm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holm tried to score with a low kick but Koski checks it.
Koski changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Koski with a nice cross.
A slapping leg kick lands for Koski.

Koski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Holm's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Koski trying to control the position from guard on top but Holm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Koski is looking to work some ground and pound but Holm has wrist control.
Holm has his hands on Koski's head, controlling the position.
Holm is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Koski wants to improve his position but Holm is controlling well.
Holm wants to take a breather but Koski is having none of it.
Koski is trying to maintain the position but Holm is very close to passing his half guard.
Koski wants to get back to full guard.
Holm takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Koski slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Koski seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Koski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Holm is aware though and is defending well.

Holm got a little sloppy there for a moment and Koski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Holm has managed to get both his arms back between Koski's legs - danger averted.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Koski misses with a looping left.
Koski takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Koski connects with a high kick.
Holm thows a left - swing and a miss!
Koski blocks a low kick nicely.

Holm dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Koski. That did some damage!
The fighters circle momentarily. Koski darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Koski ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Holm gets caught flat footed, as Koski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Koski passes Holm's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Koski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Koski looks to land a strike but Holm avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Koski is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Koski's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Koski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Holm throws a hook to the side of Koski's head but Koski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Koski tries to clinch up but Holm circles away and keeps his distance.
Koski misses with a leg kick.
Koski has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Koski lands with a good body shot.
Holm throws a body shot but no joy.
Koski avoids a kick to the body.
Holm throws out a loose jab but Koski uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Koski, as that shot connected.
Holm takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Koski cracks the inside of Holm's front leg.
Jacob Holm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Good exchange - Holm coming out on top.
Holm checks a low kick from Koski.

Koski feints and then cracks Holm's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Holm down.

Juan Koski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Koski scores with a crisp jab that stopped Holm in his tracks.
Holm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Holm is rocked!
Koski digs a good hook to Holm's body.
Oh Holm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Koski cracks Holm with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Holm tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Koski pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Holm is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juan Koski!
Juan Koski spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
