The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pond stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dux misses with a hook.
We've been hearing reports that Dux has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tanner Pond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pond takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Pond throws a leg kick which misses Dux's front leg but catches the back leg as Dux tries to avoid it.
Dux lands with a nice combination. Pond backs away looking to recover.

Pond lands a left and a right that send Dux crashing to the mat, dazed. Pond thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Dux is rocked!

It looks like John Dux has been cut.
Pond throws a monster overhand right that drops Dux! Pond follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
