The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano scores with a sloppy right hand. Dempsey should have avoided that one.
A lazy left from Marciano finds it's target.
Dempsey swings for the body but Marciano moves out of range.
Marciano half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Marciano feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dempsey's calf.

Dempsey is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Reginald Dempsey has been cut.

Marciano jabs Dempsey right on the nose. Dempsey blinks but takes it well.
Marciano scores with a jab. Dempsey acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Marciano throws a leg kick which misses Dempsey's front leg but catches the back leg as Dempsey tries to avoid it.
Dempsey throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Dempsey seems to have recovered his senses.
Jab, jab by Marciano - just one landing.
Marciano walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Dempsey drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Marciano swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Dempsey's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
